Dimensional Fund Advisors filed a supplement effective 5 October 2026 listing the portfolios that have begun offering ETF Class shares, alongside their existing mutual-fund share classes. A further supplement effective 14 October added a government bond portfolio.

Start dates

The 5 October supplement gives these commencement dates for ETF Class shares:

U.S. Small Cap Growth Portfolio6 May 2026
U.S. Large Company Portfolio5 August 2026

That makes eight portfolios that started ETF classes on 28 September or 5 October. Dimensional registered the ETF Class shares of U.S. Core Equity 2, U.S. Small Cap and U.S. Targeted Value on NYSE Arca in a Form 8-A filed on 29 September.

The supplement says the fund company has also registered ETF Class shares for the U.S. Large Cap Equity and U.S. Large Cap Growth Portfolios, but is not offering them for sale yet.

Fixed income

The 14 October supplement says the DFA Intermediate Government Fixed Income Portfolio began offering ETF Class shares on 14 October 2026. Those shares were registered on the Nasdaq Stock Market. ETF Class shares of the DFA Five-Year Global Fixed Income and DFA Short-Duration Real Return Portfolios are registered but not yet offered.

Why it matters

Mutual-fund investors in these portfolios can now hold the same strategy as a listed share class. The filings do not give tickers or fees for the new classes.
