22 issuers have objected to the planned OKX-ICE tokenised stock venue, according to the venue’s 23 October public notice. They include Microsoft, Alphabet, Goldman Sachs, Broadcom, Verizon and UnitedHealth.

The count was nine when CoinDesk reported on 18 October, citing the venue’s 15 October notice. Under the SEC’s exemptive order, an issuer that objects within 30 days of being notified can stop a third-party tokenised version of its stock from trading on the venue.

What we are watching

  • Whether more issuers join the objections.
  • How OKX and ICE respond, and whether the venue’s plans change.

Updated 26 October 2026: this article previously said nine issuers had objected, based on a news report of the venue’s 15 October notice. The venue’s 23 October notice lists 22.
