Morgan Stanley to liquidate Calvert US Large-Cap Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Index ETF
The NYSE Arca-listed fund stops taking creation orders on 23 October, with liquidation expected on or about 2 November.
The Board of Trustees of Morgan Stanley ETF Trust has approved a Plan of Liquidation for the Calvert US Large-Cap Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Index ETF, according to a supplement dated 30 September 2026.
Timetable
According to the supplement, the fund stops accepting orders for creation units at the close of business on 23 October 2026, and that date is expected to be its last full day of trading on NYSE Arca. Shareholders can trade their shares on the exchange until the market close that day. After that, NYSE Arca is expected to halt trading.
The liquidation is expected on or about 2 November 2026. On that date, remaining assets are distributed to shareholders after known liabilities are met, and all outstanding shares are redeemed.
The gap before liquidation
The filing warns that between the market close on 23 October and the liquidation date, shareholders will be unable to trade their shares on NYSE Arca, and there can be no assurance that a market for the shares will exist. Here the gap lasts about ten days. Shareholders who do not sell on NYSE Arca by 23 October will wait until the liquidation date for their distribution.
Context
The supplement does not give a reason for the closure, and it does not disclose the fund’s assets. It amends the trust’s summary prospectus, prospectus and statement of additional information dated 28 January 2026.
Added to The Midpoint on 31 October 2026, with the ETFs section. This article is dated to the event it describes; it was not published at the time.
