VanEck adds an active multi-asset Wealth Builder ETF and an EM inflation-linked bond ETF

VanEck registered shares of two new US ETFs on NYSE Arca in October: the VanEck Wealth Builder ETF on 14 October and the VanEck EM Focus Inflation Bond ETF on 20 October.

VanEck Wealth Builder ETF (WBMO)

The fund lists on NYSE Arca and seeks long-term capital appreciation and current income. It is actively managed and invests in exchange-traded products that provide exposure to equities, fixed income and real assets, including ETPs run by VanEck and by unaffiliated managers. Its prospectus shows gross expenses of 0.33%, a fee waiver of 0.07% and net expenses of 0.26%.

The adviser is Van Eck Absolute Return Advisers Corporation. David Schassler is portfolio manager and John Lau deputy portfolio manager.

VanEck EM Focus Inflation Bond ETF (EMIL)

The fund lists on NYSE Arca and seeks to replicate the FTSE Emerging Markets Focused International Inflation-Linked Securities Index. Total annual operating expenses are 0.30%, and Francis Rodilosso is the portfolio manager.

Why it matters

EMIL adds an index fund of emerging-market inflation-linked bonds to VanEck’s US range. WBMO packages a mix of asset classes into one actively managed fund.
