The London Stock Exchange describes the Weekly World Income UCITS ETF, from Aura ETFs and HANetf, as the first ETF in Europe that aims to pay distributions weekly.

WeeklyETFs marked the launch of the Weekly World Income UCITS ETF with a Market Open Ceremony at the London Stock Exchange on 12 October 2026, according to the exchange.

What the fund does

According to the exchange, the fund is actively managed and pairs diversified global equity exposure with an options strategy intended to generate income. That strategy is an actively managed covered-call overlay, using both covered calls and call spreads. The aim is to add income while retaining scope for long-term capital growth.

Weekly distributions

The London Stock Exchange states that the fund is the first ETF in Europe that aims to make distributions to investors on a weekly basis. The exchange says the weekly schedule is meant to give investors who depend on a regular income, or are building one, more flexibility over how and when they use it.

The partnership

The ceremony marks the launch of the WeeklyETFs range and the collaboration between Aura ETFs and HANetf. “WEEK gives European investors access to global equities while aiming to generate income on a weekly basis,” said Rob Oliver, founder and chief executive of Aura ETFs.

Why it matters

The listing puts a weekly payout schedule into a UCITS fund, a feature the exchange describes as new for a European ETF. Its take-up will show whether investors want income paid that often.
