Most EMEA ETF trading goes through RFQ platforms, but automated RFQ mainly handles small tickets

Flow Traders' September statistics put €164bn of €304bn in EMEA ETF value traded on the Tradeweb and Bloomberg RFQ MTFs. At Tradeweb, auto-execution handled 96% of European tickets but only 35% of notional.

EuroCTP launches the EU consolidated tape for shares and ETFs with 87% of target trade value onboarded

The exchange-owned provider announced its launch on 14 September, seven weeks after ESMA authorised it and inside the transition period that ran to 30 September. EuroCTP said contributors outside the 87% onboarded at launch would be added progressively.
