In CP26/39, the FCA sets out how the future UK equity consolidated tape provider should share income with the trading venues and APAs that supply its data. It proposes cutting payments to contributors that fall short on data quality and bringing all CTPs into enhanced incident reporting. Comments close on 17 December 2026.
On 29 October 2026 Polymarket put its international platform, Polymarket.com, into cancel-only mode and then halted trading, saying one of its third-party providers had been compromised and that it had referred the matter to law enforcement. Trading resumed at about 3:00pm ET (19:00 GMT), and the company says it is fully reimbursing affected traders.
The regulators' fourth AI survey finds agents in wide use, mostly for decision support. Even counting plans for the next 12 months, no more than 9% of respondents expect agents to execute trades or place orders.
